Snow Fort
Snow Fort Construction
So upon seeing this assignment, I decided that the best way to build a snow fort would be to, as my brother put it, "stick a hole through a pile of snow". I live in Burrillville, which means my dad plows the driveway and I have ample tarp supply.
Once we had a good foot and a half of snow and the wind (relatively) lightened up, my friend Leah and I went outside to construct the fort. This was at 7:43 pm and we finished 40 minutes later.
The original snow pile is the largest that was in the driveway, very thick and tall enough because my dad plowed today.
here's a look at it:
And then I almost fell asleep because that was tiring

then we dug out to make a sort of cavern
I tested it out for comfort a few times
The roof of the cave actually covers most of me
I also had to do some digging from the inside
We piled extra snow on the outer sides of the walls to add height for more wind protection
I expanded the shape a bit and made a pillow for my head
Adding the tarp for insulation was the finishing touch
And then I almost fell asleep because that was tiring
I love this lol! Very creative and Sean was definitely right.
