The all new Bugatti Chiron is the direct replacement and descended of the Bugatti Veyron, another ridiculously expensive and powerful hyper-car made by Bugatti.  After being passed by other manufacturers hyper-cars, Bugatti released the most extreme hyper car ever put into production.  It costs 2.998 million, has 1,500 horsepower and 1180 lb -ft of torque.  The car's purpose is to be the quickest accelerating and most powerful car in production.  

Its power comes from a w16 cylinder engine with four turbochargers.  It produces acceleration and deceleration that is almost painful to its passengers.  Its Tires can even withstand 3,800 Gs, (3,800 times the force of gravity).

Zero to 60 mph: 2.3 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 4.8 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 9.4 sec
Top speed (limited): 261 mph

• 3.9 m/s2 from t = 5.12 to 13.32 seconds
• 1.556 m/s2 from t = 13.32 to 33.24 seconds
• -13.5 m/s2 from t = 33.24 to 41.8 seconds

In the graph shown, from 0 to 5.12 seconds the car accelerates at 9.68 m/s2 , then from 5.12 seconds to 13.32 seconds, the car accelerates at 3.9 m/s2.  From 13.32 to 33.24 seconds, the car still pulls hard but is only accelerating at 1.556m/s2.  Finally after applying the carbon-ceramic disk brakes, the car decelerates at -13.5 m/s2 from 33.24 to 41.8 seconds. In 41.8 seconds, the driver of this car has experienced one of the fastest acceleration and deceleration of a production exotic hyper-car ever.

Just to show how purpose built and powerful the Bugatti Chiron is, it will be compared to a Honda Odyssey.  This family minivan is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 that produces 280 horsepower, it is reliable, safe, but no Bugatti

The Bugatti will accelerate harder, break faster, and handle better then almost any car you can put against it.  It is a work of art, a mechanical master piece, and like most things in life, physics plays a crucial role in its awe inspiring nature and what it can do.
